ProTaper SE Henry / Reed Handlebar - Red

The ProTaper SE Henry / Reed Handlebar - Red is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy with a 70,000 psi strength rating, making it one of the more capable bars in this diameter class. ProTaper uses a cold-forged aluminum crossbar, CNC-machined 6061 aluminum crossbar clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer, and a shot-peened, stress-relieved, anodized finish for lasting durability. Knurling on the clutch side improves grip adhesion, chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling, and the bar ships with a crossbar pad and plastic end plugs already included.

With 60mm of rise and 57mm of sweep, this bar lifts the grip area a meaningful amount above the clamp and angles the grips noticeably back toward the rider, a combination that tends to suit standing riders and those who want a more upright, relaxed wrist position. The 800mm width gives good leverage across the front end and can be trimmed down if your setup requires a narrower bar, though it cannot be extended. The 186mm control area on each side provides ample straight tubing for mounting levers, switches, and other controls.
