ProTaper SE ATV Low Handlebar - Jet Black

The ProTaper SE ATV Low Handlebar - Jet Black is a 7/8 in. aluminum handlebar built from a proprietary 2000 series T6 aluminum alloy and rated at 70,000 psi, making it one of the more capable bars in the SE line. The crossbar is cold-forged aluminum, and the clamps are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum and bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish adds durability, while chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. Knurling on the clutch side helps keep grips in place, and plastic end plugs seal out moisture and reinforce the grip ends. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 1.8 lbs. without it.

This bar has 88mm of rise, which lifts the grip area a moderate amount above the clamp and works well for riders who want a bit of height without going too tall. The 84mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider at a comfortable but not extreme angle, keeping wrists in a relatively relaxed position. At 813mm wide, the bar gives good leverage, and the 206mm control area on each side provides plenty of room for levers and switches.
