ProTaper MXT 04 Rear Tire 120/80-19

The ProTaper MXT 04 Rear Tire 120/80-19 is a knobby off-road rear tire built for riders who push hard on intermediate to hard-packed terrain. ProTaper shaped the tread blocks asymmetrically to keep the tire stable under heavy braking and hard acceleration, and the knob-and-groove layout is designed to maintain traction and predictability through the rough stuff.

The 120/80-19 size code tells you the tire is 120mm wide, has an aspect ratio of 80 percent of that width, and mounts on a 19-inch rim. That rim diameter must match your wheel exactly. ProTaper built this tire around intermediate to hard terrain, so it performs best on packed dirt, hardpan, and similar firm surfaces rather than deep mud or soft sand.
