The ProTaper Micro Throttle Tube Kit is a two-piece throttle tube kit built to pair with the ProTaper Micro Handlebar, giving youth riders a hand-hold sized to their grip rather than an adult bar. ProTaper says the smaller contact area helps young riders hold on more securely, stay in control, and get through a ride with less hand fatigue. It is intended for 2-stroke off-road bikes 85cc and under, and it works with seven optional throttle cams to cover a range of machines in that class.
This kit is designed specifically for the ProTaper Micro Handlebar and is not a drop-in fit for standard full-size bars. Because throttle cam geometry affects how quickly the throttle responds through its pull, ProTaper offers seven cam options separately so the kit can be matched to the specific bike it is going on.
