The ProTaper Kawasaki KX/RM Mini Aluminum Shifter is a direct replacement shifter built from forged 6061 aluminum for Kawasaki and Suzuki mini-class dirt bikes. ProTaper shapes the aluminum through forging rather than casting, which produces a denser, stronger piece. The tip folds on impact and features a knurled surface for a positive feel through the boot. It is sized and drilled to match factory mounting points straight out of the box.

This shifter replaces the stock unit and is designed to bolt on without modification. The folding tip reduces the chance of the lever bending or breaking the spline during a crash, and the knurled tip face helps the boot find a consistent contact point when changing gears.
