The ProTaper Honda CRF450R/CRF450X Aluminum Shifter is a direct replacement shifter for the 2002-2016 Honda CRF450R and the 2005-2009 and 2012-2017 Honda CRF450X. ProTaper makes it from forged 6061 aluminum and builds it to match OEM fitment specifications. The shift tip folds and carries a knurled surface for grip, making it a solid upgrade for riders who want a more durable alternative to a stock unit.

This shifter is built as a bolt-on replacement, so installation follows the same process as swapping the factory part. The folding tip reduces the chance of permanent damage if the lever takes a hit during a fall.
