ProTaper Fuzion Henry / Reed Handlebar

The ProTaper Fuzion Henry / Reed Handlebar is a full-size 1-1/8 in. clamp handlebar from ProTaper's Fuzion line, built around a flex-locking crossbar system that lets riders switch between a stiffer, more connected feel and a softer, more vibration-absorbing feel in seconds. The bar itself is made from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, and the crossbar is cold-forged aluminum with CNC-machined 6061 clamps bonded with an aerospace-grade polymer. A shot-peened, stress-relieved, and anodized finish adds durability, clutch-side knurling improves grip adhesion, and the chemically applied graphics resist scratching and peeling. The bar ships with a crossbar pad and weighs 2.1 lbs. (940g) without it.

With 61mm of rise, this bar lifts the grip area a noticeable amount above the clamp, which works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 57mm of sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a relatively relaxed wrist angle. At 800mm wide with 182mm of straight control area per side, the bar provides solid leverage and enough room for levers and switches, and the width can be trimmed down if a narrower setup is needed.
