ProTaper Contour Raptor Handlebar - Gold

The ProTaper Contour Raptor Handlebar - Gold is a full-size 1-1/8-inch clamp handlebar built from ProTaper's proprietary 2000-series T6 aluminum alloy, shot peened, stress relieved, and anodized for lasting durability. At 1.55 lbs. without the pad, it delivers a balance of fatigue life, impact strength, and flex that ProTaper positions as their most affordable entry in the Contour lineup. It ships with a crossbar pad, comes in gold anodized finish with chemically applied graphics that resist scratching and peeling, and includes plastic bar end plugs to seal the ends and support grip installation.

This bar has a 115mm rise, which brings the grip area well above the clamp and works well for riders who spend time standing or who prefer a more upright position. The 87mm sweep angles the grips back toward the rider for a comfortable wrist angle rather than a straight, neutral feel. At 813mm wide with 200mm of control area per side, there is plenty of leverage and room for levers and switches, and the bar can be trimmed narrower using the 1/4-inch cut guides if needed.
