Three layers of compound work together: a tacky outer surface for feel and grip, an inner core that bonds to the bar, and a high-durometer tip that resists tearing at the end. The pattern is also shaped to shed mud away from the outer surface, keeping traction consistent in dirty conditions.
The Pillow Top pattern uses a cushioned, gel-like surface that softens vibration and reduces fatigue over long rides, making it a good fit for riders who want comfort without giving up grip. The Lite compound is tacky and comfortable, though softer compounds like this will show wear sooner than harder alternatives. These are slide-on grips, so you will need grip glue and safety wire to mount them properly.
