No Toil Air Filter Cage - KAWASAKI KX 250F 2017-2020 is molded from plastic using an injection process, giving it a consistent shape and structure. It is built to take the place of the factory cage that came on the machine. The molded construction allows it to hold the air filter in position during use.
Foam air filters are serviced rather than replaced on a fixed schedule, so how long one lasts depends on the conditions you ride in. Clean it with a dedicated filter cleaner, let it dry completely, then re-oil before fitting. Many riders keep a second filter on the shelf so a freshly oiled one is always ready.
