The Motul 300V Synthetic Ester Oil 5W-40 1L is a synthetic 4-stroke engine oil built around Motul's double-ester technology, which the company says improves lubricity, sharpens engine response, and supports maximum RPM. It sits in the 300V Factory Line, Motul's road racing tier, and is suited to high-performance four-stroke engines used in road racing and motocross. It is also compatible with engines fitted with a catalytic converter.
This oil carries a 5W-40 viscosity grade: the 5W reflects its cold-temperature rating and the 40 reflects its rating at operating temperature. Match the grade to whatever your service manual specifies for your engine. The 1L bottle is sized for a single fill on many smaller four-stroke engines.
