Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 Rear Motorcycle Tire 170/60R17 72W

The Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A41 Rear Motorcycle Tire 170/60R17 72W is the third generation of Bridgestone's Adventure Touring line, built in Japan with a radial, mono-spiral belt construction that supports stability across a wide range of conditions. Bridgestone rates its wet-weather capability as the best the Adventure Touring lineup has seen, and the tread pattern includes deco grooves aimed at improving agility and line-holding in the rain. It is suited to riders who spend the great majority of their time on pavement with occasional light off-road use, following a 90/10 split.

The size code 170/60R17 tells you the tire has a 170 mm section width, an aspect ratio of 60 percent of that width, and is built for a 17-inch rim. The rim diameter must match your wheel exactly, and the full size code should match what is printed on the sidewall of the tire you are replacing. This tire carries a load index of 72 and a speed rating of W, which covers speeds up to 168 mph (270 km/h). Your machine's specification determines which load index and speed rating are required.
