The Bridgestone Battlax S22 Hypersport Rear Motorcycle Tire 180/60ZR17 75W is a radial rear tire built on the foundation of the S21, with revised compounds and tread pattern geometry that Bridgestone says deliver better handling and performance across all riding conditions. Made in Japan, it weighs 15.0 lbs. and mounts on a 17-inch rim.
This tire uses a metric size code: the first number, 180, is the section width in millimetres, 60 is the aspect ratio as a percentage of that width, and 17 is the rim diameter in inches. The rim diameter must match your wheel, and the full size code should match what is printed on the sidewall of the tire you are replacing. The load index of 75 and speed rating of W go together as a pair, with W covering speeds up to 168 mph (270 km/h). Bridgestone built this tire around hypersport riding, with the updated compound focused on improved dry grip.
