The Alpinestars SMX Plus boots are engineered for high-performance motorcycle riding, combining advanced protective features with superior comfort. Designed for ease of use, the outside entry and exit feature a stretchable accordion panel that ensures a snug fit and effortless removal, while the micro-adjustable ratchet top closure with a stow tab end guarantees a secure and customizable fit. The boots incorporate Alpinestars’ innovative Multi-Link Control system, which offers external protection and support for ankle articulation, effectively limiting hyper-torsion, hyper-extension, and hyper-flexion movements. This system also provides impact protection to the Achilles and ankle areas, enhancing safety without compromising mobility. Protective coverage is further reinforced with a replaceable dual-density TPU toe slider, mounted with a screw-in assembly, along with replaceable heel and side heel sliders designed to dissipate shock and facilitate sliding in case of a fall.
Maximum comfort and safety are achieved through large, asymmetrical accordion zones at the front and rear, which maximize flexibility and adapt to foot movement. The advanced synthetic forefoot lining is laminated with open-cell foam for shock absorption, while the highly breathable ankle and leg linings help keep the rider comfortable during long rides.
